Shelburne Falls Youth Troupe performance in Ashfield, June 4

Piti Theatre’s Shelburne Falls Youth Troupe will present “Ashfield’s Grumpiest Tyrannosaurus” on Sunday, June 4 at 2 pm, Ashfield Town Hall, 412 Main Street. This short but tender comedy about a group of dinos trying to share their swamp with a Tyrannosaurus Rex features a new song “Excuse us” written with Northampton singer-songwriter Carrie Ferguson that will be part of Piti Theatre’s upcoming production “Dexter and the Dinosaurs” to be presented with the Youth Troupe at the Great Greenfield DinoFest on October 7th. A school residency version of “Dexter and the Dinosaurs” will happen at Colrain Central School on June 2 at 2 pm and is open to the community.

“Ashfield’s Grumpiest Tyrannosaurus” is part of Double Edge Theater’s Ashfield Town Spectacle, a free weekend of performative events around Ashfield. For more go to www.doubleedgetheatre.org
