October 18 – 20: To Bee or Not to Bee Residency at Ames Elementary School, Searsmont, ME. Performance on Friday, Oct. 18, 2 pm. Check out an article in the local paper about the residency.
October 21, United Farmers Market of Maine, 18 Spring Street, Belfast
9 -1: Dirigo Learning’s Hands-On Pollinator Museum, a travelling collection of specimens specific to Maine’s landscape and create their own Bee Hotels, handmade habitats that promote the growth of native bee colonies – an essential part of Maine’s food systems.
2 pm – 3 pm: To Bee or Not to Bee Performance. Read the feature in the Penobscot Bay Pilot.
3:15 – 4:00: all ages pollinator activist art workshop at the Belfast Co-op
October 22: To Bee or Not to Bee performance at Curtis Library, Brunswick ME, 3 pm. Ed Friedman, beekeeper and Executive Director of the Friends of Merrymeeting Bay, will be available after the show. Read the feature in the Times-Record.
