Elana Kirshenbaum is an Educator and Programs innovator with extensive experience successfully building a more just world for other species and the planet, Her background spans non-profit program management and development, teaching, humane education, and social work. As the Education Director at Catskill Animal Sanctuary, Elana oversaw Camp Kindness and other educational programs for children. She also founded Healing Earth, a non profit organization dedicated to education programs for all ages  inspiring compassionate, healthy, and sustainable choices. Elana’s childhood experiences nurtured a lifelong passion for protecting other species, aligning her choices with her values, and living with compassion and respect for all living beings and our shared Earth home. She and her daughter live in Franklin County where they love exploring nature, being creative, dancing, singing, eating yummy food, caring for animals, playing  with others, and going on many adventures.
