Do you love to dance or express yourself with movement? Join our community dance troupe with rehearsals in beautiful western MA!

See below for more info. Do not hesitate to contact us to talk and schedule an audition. The audition is to get to know you, see your dance level, etc. (Don't worry about the audition, we are looking for beginners to professional dancers, and most important is the commitment and positive attitude)

Godeliève's Bio and Work Samples

"I had the pleasure of working with choreographer Godeliève Richard when she set her dance “The Mill Dream” on the young dancers of Ballet Renversé in 2015. Her dance imagery and the blending of that imagery with local history - the textile mills of Colrain - were memorable. One of the young dancers who performed the Mill Dream is still dancing and remembers it as a powerful experience. And Godeliève is a pleasure to work with."

In this dance troupe you will:

- have the opportunity to dance!
- perform for the community: local and Piti Theatre events,
schools, etc.
- help create new work made in the Hilltowns
- be part of music videos (of Piti Theatre songs and others)
- choose name of the troupe

Goals

- use the capacities of each participant and work as a group supporting and learning from each other
- create dances in a fun atmosphere that we will perform for the community
- bring people together with live art and enjoy the creativity and strengths of each participant
- connect with one another in a beautiful rural setting.
- inspire audience and artists to live happy, joyful, honest, creative, loving, healthy lives

  • Ages 14 and up
  • All levels are welcome
  • Commitment, positivity and love for dance are the priority
