Jonathan Mirin's (Co-Artistic Director) plays have
been performed at the New York & Edinburgh Fringe Festivals,
Florida Studio Theatre, and off-off Broadway. His performance in Riding
the Wave.com was nominated for a 2004 IRNE Award (Independent
Reviewers of New England) for Best Solo Performance, Small Company and
is a two-time finalist for the Actor's Theatre of Louisville Heidemann
Award.
Acting work includes Uncle Vanya (American Repertory Theatre), Wit (Lyric West Theatre), Orestes (Hangar Theatre), She Stoops to Conquer (Acadia Repertory Theatre), Moses . . . Live! and Dracula's Foot and Other Objects Not Normally Found in a Hamper (Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Medea (American Theatre of Actors) and The Ecclesiazusae (Looking Glass Theatre). He has taught dramatic writing for Boston University, New England Youth Theatre, Boston Arts Academy, and Creative Arts at Park. He is a graduate of Swarthmore College, The Neighborhood Playhouse and Boston University's Creative Writing Program.
Jonathan has integrated his theatre background with training & consulting work for Lehman Brothers, Power & Systems, the New York City Public Schools, World Education and others. He founded the Piti Theatre Company with his wife, Godelieve Richard, in 2004.
